The Cambridge University Health Partners’ Office for Translational Research (OTR) supports researchers from the Cambridge University Health Partners (CUHP) Partner institutions (University of Cambridge, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust) in their efforts to translate their findings from their basic biological, biomedical or clinical research into practical human health benefits, such as new therapeutics, devices, diagnostics or other interventions. The OTR provides practical support in three major areas
- Translational Research Project development and management
- Industrial Partnership development and co-ordination
- Large Strategic Translational/ Industrial Initiatives Development
We work closely with the network of knowledge transfer professionals across the University such as the Bioscience Impact Team, the Physical Sciences/Technology KTNs and Cambridge Enterprise to ensure there is seamless support across scientific disciplines.
Information about other relevant support offices can be found through the links below. However, we are happy to put you in touch with the relevant group if you are uncertain who to contact.
