Office for Translational Research

The Office for Translational Research is delighted to host on March 16, 2023 an in-person Academic Industry Meeting Day, or AIMday®, on Cell & Gene Therapy at the University of Cambridge (venue tba). Here, questions from companies and organisations form the core of the AIMday format and set the agenda for face-to-face discussions with academics and clinicians in small informal workshops.

Cell & gene therapies have the potential to change the global healthcare landscape. Nevertheless, they have yet to reach their full potential and there is a constant need for scientific and technological improvements. Whether you are an academic researcher, a small-/medium-sized company, a large organisation or a public authority involved in cell & gene therapies, this is a great opportunity to find new ways to solve real-world problems and foster collaboration between industry and academia. To follow up on initial discussions and ideas, the opportunity to apply for funding will be offered afterwards.

The event is free to attend, but organisations must submit at least one question/challenge that will serve as the basis for discussion for a one-hour workshop.

Organisations can register and submit questions now (deadline December 06, 2022): https://aimday.se/gene-and-cell-therapy-cambridge-2023/registrations-for-org/

Registration for academic researchers and sign-up for questions will open in mid-December!
